Trial Run.
School starts tomorrow for Atticus, and let's just say that this summer he has had practically no real schedule. So, this morning we did a trial run. We had a rough beginning with a lot of grumpy faces and a little bit of whining. While we were eating breakfast, we talked about the new school year. Like what he was excited/nervous about. By the time it was time to "leave" for school everyone was clean, dressed, fed, HAPPY and ready to walk out of the house! Atticus even said, "That was really fun and I am excited for the real thing!" It was seriously a huge relief for me. Here's hoping tomorrow goes just as smooth if not more so!

A trial run is such a great idea. My older two start on Monday, and this week we're going to bed early and waking up early as well in preparation.
I hope tomorrow goes well for your little guy!
